Craft
Few materials have played such a decisive and significant role in human evolution as iron.
Knowledge and skill in the processing of iron ores was a measure of a nation's maturity and wealth. From the beginning of its development, iron, even in its most primitive form, was used to make tools for processing other materials, such as wood and stone, as well as weapons and even jewellery.
The oldest peoples, civilizations that have long since disappeared, left traces of their culture in iron products, among other things.
For many centuries, this masterful craft has continued to evolve and has been handed down from generation to generation.
And so, even today, the craft of blacksmithing is met with unusual interest, admiration and respect for the anvil, the fire and the hand adorned with the hammer.
That eternal and unquenchable flame, inherent only in man,
...the diligent search for form and decoration,
that strong instinct which drives man to art,
is transferred to them with the discovery of iron
